Exclamation Problem when playing an AVI (Divx / Xvid)

Hi !

I have a slight problem with a *.avi file . When i play it i get a grey image during the whole movie, the rest works fine (sound etc... ) . I have played the file via MicroDVD. Is this a codec problem ? cause i have used gspot to see if i might be needing any other codecs but it seems to be fine, what should i do ??

Thanks in advance everybody.

For starters, make certain you have the two codecs installed, divx and/or xvid, respectively,
DIVX
XVID

Then try playing the file in other media players, like windows media player, see if that works. Might be a problem with the codec, or just the program you use to play the file - only way to find out is through trial and error atm.
