Every dj has their price. if "groove" would of been a bigger hit then it was people would of said sasha sold out.

Sasha remixed Madonna. Xpander was in the game Wipeout. Do I think of him as a sell-out? No.

Why are some people so anal when it comes to DJs or producers making music for commercial products. The remix of Ray of Light and Xpander are ace productions. As long as the quality of the tracks are maintained what's wrong with these DJs/producers making a few more bucks doing what they are best at?

Couldn't agree with you more, don't know if this has been brought up before, but fuck, William Orbit produced the new Pink Track right? Since it's called Pink feat William Orbit I can only assume .

Plus Gabriel and Dresden Produced + Remixed some songs off Jewel's new album.

Tiesto doing the coke commercial, and PvD did the motorola one.

There are plenty of other examples of things some consider selling out, as long as they keep producing quality tunes I don't see anything wrong with these things.

In terms of what many people call "selling out", I think Nick Warren, this guy is freaking amazing... oh, and Max Graham also... but I agree with dark_tenshi, I really don't feel that PvD, Tiesto, have really "sold-out" persay, they still produce and DJ the music they feel and love, isn't that staying true to your roots and not being a sell out?

who gives a shit if they sell out, why do all of "us" care so much? let them do with their careers how they please, if you dont want to like them because you think they are a sell out, then good for you

XPANDER IS IN WIPEOUT?????

gAAAAAAAAAAH i NEEEEED THAT. I used to play that when I was younger....I think I sold it though. It was what started my love of electronic music.

Lol. I need to buy it back again just for the soundtrack. I used to listen to just the soundtrack on the CD player all the time.

"WTF is this kind of music....Holy fuck!"

Can you tell me some of the other tracks? I know it had a lot of chemical bros, and prodigy as well.

i'll have to give it to Markus Schulz
if you're going by the argument that you will never see top 40 prog songs,
then you will definitely not see any of the songs he plays up there. stays true to the genre...and, sure, he remixed 'Intuition'..and, sure, there was a club mix of that, which even made it into Raul Roc da House's mix CD...but, even with that remix, he stays true to the genre..and his own style
it wont be lost over the largest offer you can make him.

John 00 Fleming is probably the DJ who is least likely to sell out. His ethos is to play underground trance that is very difficult to ID. He has always played underground and upfront tunes ever since his days as a goa dj. In all the sets I have heard of his, and the live sets I have never heard him play a track that is remotely cheesy.
