Hey guys, I'm just lookinmg for a program to mix my videos from parties with some of my tracks. Does anyone know of anything available as a demo version that I could use for this or anything that I don't have to pay for.

Or even a program to convert the files I have to MPEG

I'm really not sure, but I would definately look at the SoFo range of products. I've heard that Vegas Video is really great. Perhaps there is a free, stripped version of Vegas (like Acid Pro and Acid Xpress). It's worth checking out, because if they have a stripped down version it should still have all the functionality you need.

check with adobe's website for a demo of premiere maybe?

Cool, thanks guys. Vegas doesn't come with the mpeg plug-in. All my movies are mpg at the moment and I just need to get them into mpeg1 or mpeg2. Will have a look at premiere.
