i just found out that my dog has glacoma on both eyes now and he has only 20 percent left of her vision on her left eye. she was blind in one eye already for nearly 3 years and now it fucked up her other eye. i don't konw why the doctors didn't catch it early and the medicine she was taking didn't work. i'm really pissed. my father kinda has something to do with it. it might be his fault he didn't take her to the doctor soon enough.

now whenever i come over to my parents house, i see my dog bumping into things and moving just slowly and it depresses the hell out of me. i actually teared up just by seeing it and thinking about it and i never felt this way. it's sad and i'm pissed as well. she's about nearly 9 years old now so i don't know how old that is in doggy years.

sometimes i just don't wanna look when she walks around just feeling her path instead of seeing it. i never really imagined that i would have emotions over it but i guess i spent so much time with the dog. and i see it almost every other day. i don't even want the option of putting it to sleep when it is suffering. it's seriously depressing though....
has anyone else had a close dog or dog that has something wrong with it? i try not to think about it really. hopefully the new medication she's taking will at least not make her other eye worse. but the fact that they can't give her back or make her better is just another blow.
