great game. some people hate it. I'm not sure why probably cause of the story......which is a little fucked up and you might not like it if you don't actually understand what happens at the end. Very epic love story tho i enjoyed it

as with most final fantasy games the story is breathtaking and so are the video sequences. what annoys me with the 8th installation of final fantasy is the awful gameplay graphics.

By the way, whats the latest final fantay out?

GREAT GAME, I play it for 4 times from begin to end. And the last time I found almost everything exept a few cards.

The last game in Europe and the US is FF X. In Japan it is FFXI, FFX-2, Final Fantasy Chronicles and Final Fantasy Tactics advance. Lucky Bastards

ff8 was good at least up until this one cutscene where it kept freezing on me... i think i put 40 hours into the game and it kept freezing on this one cuscene where the girl's floating in space...

i thought it was pretty cool except for the draw system which i felt was way too complicated and timedraining plus it made u not want to use magic but i liked the story and cutscenes

despite some other people, i really like part 8 in the final fantasy series, it's not the best one in the series though. 3 (or 6 called in us and europe i think), 7 and 9 come close to that.
