Orkidea, at the age of 25, has been one of Finland's leading trance and progressive DJs for a remarkable 10 years. He's been on the trance tip for quite a long time but he likes to spice up his sets with more housy sounds, breaks, acid, electro or whatever comes handy.
His international reputation has seen him at venues like Tresor (Berlin, Germany), Pacha (Ibiza, Spain), Turbine (Stockholm, Sweden), Tunnel (St.Petersburg, Russia), Wintergalactic & State (Toronto), Viva Nightclub (Toronto). Chosen to headline WEMF 2003 with BT, there is no doubting his ability to perform.
Orkidea's latest track, 'Melancholy' has been picked up by Tiesto's Blackhole records and was released early this year. His recent remix of Aalto - Rush is being hammered by the likes of Paul van Dyk, Tiesto, Matt Hardwick and many others.
Always one to please the crowd, his last appearance in Toronto was a remarkable display of the versatility he has when behind the decks. Join us on a blissful Thursday as we welcome Orkidea back for yet another memorable night!
