Post your messages to superstar djs HERE
Here is one taken from GU message board 'message to Sasha'
| quote: | I just wanted to tell you that I won't pay $25 again to hear records available at the store a month ago, mixed in an uninspiring manner no better than I could have done myself playing them together for the first time.
In this poor economy with eveyone struggling to keep their job and perform better while taking paycuts for fear of getting the pink slip, it seems you are regressing instead.
Luckily, you have finally embraced the technical revolution that was the advent of the cdj1000 and now carry a cd binder like any other modern dj contemporary of yours, but instead of wowing people with and breaking new music, you disappoint with your outdated track selections and uninspired mixing.
Take example from your professional peers including Ali of DD, Desyn Masiello, or Rowan Blades. They craft brilliant sets from unknown, unreleased records, like you used to as recently as three years ago.
So how can someone of your stature in the djing community and resources afforded to maybe a handful of other djs play like the local resident who went record shopping a month ago?
And finally, your nonchalant manner toward your fans who wait out till the last minute to shake your hand or greet you is not hard to see either. After all you're just some guy with a big ego playing disco records. Don't let it get to your head is what I'm saying.
