I purchased 3 copies of Circ - Destroy She Said from dancerecords.com.

2 copies has what looks like glue on the vinyl. Seems like a mistake when they pressed them. They have been good to deal with and told me I can return them for a refund. Problem is that I really want this record and this was the first time I saw that anyone stocked it.

I'd like to try and save it. I used grooveglide and that didnt work.

Anyone have any recommendations as to what to use to clean this? I know rubbing alcohol will work but I dont know what it will do to the vinyl.

RU Sure it's glue?

Maybe the thought the record was that good...

use pure alcohol diluted in distilled water.

it shouldn't damage the vinyl if you dissolvethe alcohol in water, give it a try...
