Improving your melodies

Hi, I've got myself some nice sounding melodies that I've recently made. They sound good as they are but I'd like to see if I can make them, any better or more complex sounding. Possibly a richer, fuller, truly professional sound. What effects/techniques are good for this, reverb/flanger/delay etc.. can anyone please explain? Gracias.

Well that all depends. Is the problem in the sound or is it in the notes that are being played. If you could post a sampler, then maybe it would help us determine how to make them better. Its kind of hard to say how to make something better when we don't know how it goes.
