OO dear. I got my first AS module results back yesterday. A in Chemistry and U in Maths (M1). Everyone did shit in Maths in my class, everyone got Us Loadsa people I would have thought to get high grades only got like Ds or Es. Only the really really really clever people managed to get As + Bs. My whole maths department should be fired In fact one teacher is resigning over how shitly our school handles maths and IT.

the whole education system sucks though, I missed 6 months of year 11 so did hardly any coursework, the school told me I'd be just graded on my exams so I wouldn't be upto 60% down on marks before I started, so when I get my results they forgot to tell the examining boards who wouldn't change their minds over it, so I'm stuck with Ds & Es for getting 80-100% on every paper wankers...

As for the A-Levels, my bro has a shite Biology teacher who told them shes too busy to teach them all the work, so they got a dictator and Hid it in one of their bags and recorded her slagging them off & being rude, and not doing the work, and now shes suspended... stupid whore. As for re-sits, if u want something badly, u'll get it in the end mate, good luck too

sorry to hear about what happened to you, the teacher in my lesson had no fucking clue how to teach us, no prep for lessons or anything

the trouble is that incompetence like that fucks up lives, you can goto lessons and try your hardest, if the person who's meant to teach u doesn't have a clue ur buggered, I guess the best thing to do is use that as motivation, like go out there and show the pricks that you can do it and make something of urself

It's not the end of the world mate.

Both of my parents have degrees, and both are unemployed.

Yet my uncles and aunties, some of them without even any A levels, are all comfortably off, some of them particularly so.

hehe prolly wasn't actually planning on GETTING a degree, just wanted to live like a gippo for 3 years lol

Don't worry mate, it's not the end of the world. And don't worry about not knowing what you want to do. I'm 23 in a couple of months and I still aint got a fucking clue

My advice? If you've got no further education planned then get a temp job through an agency, pay wont be too bad. Use half the cash to go out clubbing every weekend and put the other half away. When you've got a couple of grand saved up fuck off to Asia or Australia or something for several months. When you get back you'll probably have a better idea of what you want to do, plus you'll have lots of worldly knowledge and will be a tad older & wiser.
