If I was buying Gemini equipment, what do get?

Hi

Many of you have helped me on other DJ equipment questions, so here is some more.

I am on a strict budget, can't afford technics. I am able to possibly get Gemini extremely cheap through various contacts - Legitimate stuff.

So what equipment is recommended. I have never mixed before, so I am starting off & my music tastes are very trance based (what else), with a little uplifting house. I have had a bit of a look at the Gemini website, but haven't been able to gain too much detail on the equipment.

I'd be looking for 2 turntables & a mixer.

Suggestions.

Thanks for any help

- A.

if it's only gemini equipment you can get cheap the go for their mixer (if forget what it's called) which is green with the skull and crossbones on it. it has good all round functions : 3 band EQ with decent range and full kill switches, also has a good monitoring section and the whole mixer fairly well laid out.
I think this mixer has form and function that you will find on many much higher priced mixers and it is quite cheap. I once had a gemini ps 626 and found it really user freindly (loved the fader for the headphone monitor), but over time, needed better quality and more functions. If you need anymore help, gimme a shout.

Think really really hard before buying any gemini equipment. Ask someone who knows there shit, they will tell you to stay away from that company.
