Question Vinyl Stores in Edmonton?

I was just wondering where all you Edmonton TAs buy your records and vinyl from. I remembering reading an article in See or Vue magazine a few months ago, which said that a very popular record store shut down or something to that effect. So I was just wondering how the Edmonton TAs acquire their records?

Also, don't mention any online stores, cause I already know of a few websites, and I don't have a credit card either

EDIT: I just did some searching myself, and I came across Foosh, which sounds like the store I am looking for. However, it says that Foosh is in Old Strathcona, which is a long ways from where I live (I'm without a car, by the way). So, is there any other stores in Edmonton besides Foosh, namely around the west side of Edmonton?

To be completely honest with you, Edmonton is crap for record shops. I went to foosh and the only trance vinyl worth buying was the signed obsession 12" on the wall.

I know your post said not to list any websites but I am going to list one. It www.houseofelectronica.com The owners name is Dro. He will get you any record for a wicked price. Last month I got 7 records (Coast to Coast - Searching, Nothing But You - PVD, Yet Another Day - AVB, Indigo - Corsten, Tears from the Moon - Conjure One, Breathing - Rank1, You feel/Butterfly - Yahel) for $115cnd that included shipping and GST. Its actually cheaper than foosh (they are usually $17/record) and you can get any record you want. They are a newer record shop and I believe they take cashier cheques. Email them and ask. The only bad thing is it did take a week to get the records but it was well worth the wait.

p.s. I don't work for them and Im not getting any promos or nothin'. I just want to let you know how to get good records cause Edmonton is crap.

Thank you for the suggestion

To be honest though, I don't have a credit card OR cashier cheques, so purchasing through those guys or any other website will be pretty tricky, to say the least

DV8 records used to be quite well stocked with Trance but unfortunately they had to close.

HOWEVER there is another Edmonton-based store in the works, this time it's online though.

waysofthewicked.com

We're aiming for mid-fall opening.

I got an email from the owners of www.houseofelectronica.com

They asked me to be a supplier for records. For all the Edmonton TA's that want trance records and don't have a credit card, there is a possibility of you now getting records. How it would probably work is you would email me a list of records you want, I will talk to the house of electronic guys and they will ask their supplier for availibility and price. I will let you know the price and whats availiable (should be around $16cnd / record but depends on how many are ordered because of shipping) and they will ship them to me all together and I will then hand them out. I will probably ask for half the price of the record in advance and half when you recieve the record (shipping is usually 1 week). If you are interested PM me.

ARMIN TONIGHT SEE YOU ALL THERE.... I'll be the guy in the white signed cowboy hat.
