load fxp patch???

Hi, Ive downloaded some HYDRA patches from some site and I am stuck as how to load them into HYDRA, can anyone help please?

Fxp patches are proprietary to Steinberg. You'll need cubase or nuendo to use them...

Yes i got Cubase
but i still dont know how to use that *.FXP file (which is supposed to be for the VST Plug In HYDRA)
Where and how do i load it to?

put it into your vst folder then go to device - plug in information and load folder and click update ??

I'm assuming you're using Cubase SX.

When you look at the window of the hydra, on top there are some buttons (the on/off knob, the write and read automation, etc...) and some fields. One of those fields has the word "File" written in it. Click on it and select load effect/instrument (for FXP) or load bank (for FXB).
