Well I guy from another forum made a really good song, after listened to it I ask him about the sorfware he used to make it anyway all he says was the he used BUZZ (SOFTWARE) I just wanted to know if you guys have heard about that software, if so, how is it ?

Hi,

It's a real powerful piece of software, with lots of abilities but I personally don't like it that much. However I do know James Holden uses it and he made the track Horizons with it. Powerful, it is!

The nice thing about Buzz is that it's generally very easy to use but the instruments it comes with aren't exactly professional quality. However if you have some good VSTi's to use with Buzz then it can be quite useful.

I use buzz; it's great. Sasha & Holden - Bloodlock was done in Buzz -- every Holden track has been done in buzz actually, not just Horizons.

I've found that it's hard to get some good trancey synths/basslines out of buzz, but since it has phenomenal support for VSTs this is not really an issue. The interface isn't exactly the most intuitive thing on the planet, but once you get used to it you'll find it's quite effective.

I'll post a tune I made in buzz with VSTs pretty soon; just waiting for word from a few key people, hehe.

I just downloaded and it seems kind of complicated to use anyway I would like to hear the tune you made using buzz !

I love buzz. I learned how to make music on the computer using trackers on my 486, so the buzz interface is so natural for me, yet still powerful.

Also, I dont think the machines are of low-quality, they just lack the bells and whistles of the expensive VST's that sound good out of the box. You have to play with the effects routing to get the right sound out of buzz machines, but I kinda like building sounds from scratch.
