alrite guys i dunno if any of you watch that show The Lofters on the Life network (i think it's cable 27 on Rogers)... anyways apparently DJ Tiesto performed a liveset at their studio sometime ago and the set was also simulcasted on their website at www.u8tv.com

I managed to rip the video from their servers at this address:

The problem it that the file is in .wmv format and runs into a fatal error at about 1 min 43 sec during playback. The only way that I can watch it in continuous playback (still with some stops) is through an ASF recorder.

If any of you can manage to rip this in better quality than I have then please let me know I'd be interested in getting my hands on a better copy than what I have now. Please be aware that I noticed momentary periods of silence throughout the set possibly caused by only recording certain audio channels.

The audio recording is kinda messed up, looks like they recorded directly off of one turntable, not the line out on the mixer. Well, at least it's pretty cool hearing Tiesto cue up, like an inside look on the mechanics of spinning.

Works all fine for me...I watched the full 16 minutes of it...argghhh...see how fast he cues up.....that's sick..... arghhh...I actually new all the songs he played there.....YEA ME

im refreshing this classic thread because the link is still alive, and this is a must-see for any tiesto fan...

still dont know why the audio is messed up, the recording cant be out of one turntable because you can hear the mix occasionally.
but then, i dont think its out of the mixer either. ?
