Hey hows it goin everybody. I need some help. Im movin from ny to baltimore for school and i have no clue wut clubs are out there or how the scene is. If i dont have my music i may die. id really appreciate it if anyone told me whats there or nearby. thanks.

well, unfortunately baltimore AND dc have both had their share of trance/progressive/house, but most of these parties have been shut down. soooo....the only things i can suggest to you would be glow at club insomnia in DC. on saturday nights they have trance djs come from all over the world to spin a set, typically from 1-4 am. but, glow definitely has its ups and many, many downs. its kinda small, and there is a hip hop room upstairs, so a lot of the people in the glow room are not true trance fans. you have a LOT of nasty-ass guidos trying to hit on anything there with a hole. for djs like PVD and tiesto, its not cheap (anywhere from $30-35), then you have to wait in a line for 30-45 mins to just get in, where you will only end up standing shoved up next to people you really didnt want to know what their sweat felt like. ew.


but...

glow does bring in pretty good names, such as armin, ferry, tiesto, pvd, james holden, gabriel and dresden, marco v...etc. its definitely worth to check it out for yourself. you can find more info at www.clubglow.com

other than that, there really is no trance scene in baltimore and dc anymore. it really sucks, even NYC only has one really good club. it seems like trance is becoming extinct or something!

There are lounges and places in Baltimore to check out. Sonarlounge is considered to be the best now that Buzz left Baltimore. Starscape, a huge massive by the waterfront is happening at the end of September. There is other stuff. Check out www.buzzlife.com and go to the message board, they usually have Baltimore parties listed under the Maryland section.

Also Buzz (A GREAT party) is moving back to DC so you might want to check that out!

NYC has 2 quality clubs atm but 2 more amazing clubs are moving in which should help. Avalon, and Crobar

I beg to differ. I say Avalon and ARC. Roxy is good too.

SF saturday nite, Arc fridays for house, Saturdays for talent, Roxy for kids nites..
