Matrix 3 question

When I hook up cables to both my Booth and Master outputs in the back of my Matrix 3 mixer, it puts off a hum through my speakers. I have Monster Cable wires so the wires are pretty good. I contacted Numark and they told me to have it serviced which is BS cause it is brand new. Sucks that I got it off ebay brand new though so I guess I dont have a warrenty because its not from an authorized Numark Dealer. Any help would be great.

Thanks

i used to have that mixer and for me it was a piece of shit. about 3 months after i brought it i experienced the same problem, everytime i turned up the volume fader there would be more hum in my speakers and also my headphones. i got rid of it. umm have u tried using different wires before? or if your using turntables, is your ground wire hooked up behind the mixer?

I have tried using some different wires and yes my tables are grounded. The mixer doesnt make any noise if I just have the booth output going to my speakers but if I try to record something on my computer, I hook up my pc to the Master output and my speakers are on the Booth output, then it makes the noise. Somehow the signal is only effected when there is both a master and booth output going on. I might just have to mix it in my headphones when I want to record something.
