I got there a little early myself (11:30ish) and Dr. Trance was spinning some decidedly Euroish tracks to a very un-populated Viva... I wasn't having too much fun until the last half hour or so of his set, when more of the TA group started showing up.
Hardware rammed it though, big time. And with good reason. The place was suddenly jam-packed by about 2:30 and he was spinning a set that actually reminded me quite a bit of Marco V's set at the Guv.
This was nothing, I repeat nothing like his Ascension set which some of you may remember me having classified as utterly monotone. He spun a great mix of tracks, mostly hard and tech trance but also a decent bit of techno (REAL TECHNO, NOT PROGRESSIVE TECHNO!!), hardstyle, and hard house. Great, great set, I recognized a lot of tracks but couldn't name 'em, sorry to those that asked.
Shout-outs to Graham, Bryce, Jenna, Mike, Emery & co., Mirza, and Aaron (the other one). And the TR crew of course. Mike, why did you and Jenna leave so early!? I'll have to get that CD some other way now. Sorry I didn't get to say goodbye, I think you left just after I went to sit down.
Oh, and that druggie creeped me out, I thought she kept looking at me 'til I realized that Mirza was standing behind me, haha... but that still doesn't compare to the one whose eyes were rolled so far up that I thought she could see her brain.
Good times!
