As short as possible – I have a phobia about taking to people on the phone!

I am horrible about calling people and returning phone calls. When I do talk to people it is usually 5-15 minutes. If I haven't spoken to someone in a while (month or longer) or if it is someone that I never physically see the calls tend to last longer. I text quite a bit.

My calls are usually 10-15 mins...as a guy.

I rarely make phone calls.

My brother in contrast, talks for well over 20, maybe more.

cuz that might be what it is closest to on avegare. but it really depends! with my girlfriend i tend to chat on the phone for very long as it's free to us to call eachother. with my friends it's like a couple of minutes usually as they all have icq anyway, so no need to waste money on the phone that often. with relatives it's mostly about 10min i guess, but like i said it all depends so much on so many things! and btw i send about 20 sms' a year and even that is too much! i just don't like the damn things at all. i just talk much rather!

Yeah me too, cause then you can link pics and vids and send files and such, and if you really wanted to, you could still set up a vocal connection.
