2003 MTV Music Awards
ok ok i know this has nothing to do with trance or tranceaddicts around the world, but this pertains to the music world, which we do live in .. so the 2003 MTV Music awards has come and gone. after watching the very prolonged 3 hour show, what do you think was the "biggest highlight" of the show? In my opinion, pretty lame of me anyways, haha, but it was PVD's commercial during hour 2 (know which part, because I recorded it. Couldn't catch it live. Tivo rocks!!). The whole show was lame and uneventful. Madonna, Christina, and Britney "kiss and tell" show was not entertaining. Chris Rock's monologue was good, but I have seen better shows from him. He looked like he put only five minutes into his act. Justin Timberlake's "best dance video" award was not well-deserved (look at the nominations .. let's see some trance videos compete with that video and see who wins) and all the performances were lame (except Beyonce's, which was halfway decent ... bad, if she wasn't so goddamn fine). Eminem bashing a doll .. what the hell is that?? Metallica's prologue was not good, especially their renditions of songs.. Other than that, the whole awards show was a downfall in my opinion. What do you guys think?
