the best website for searching for jobs is www.worktrain.co.uk it has all the jobs that the jobcentre have on sytem all over the country.

basically its more expensive to live in the south, but u generally get higher wages.. the northern people are generally more friendly (with the exceptions obviously) but dont live in manchester

if for example u were looking for a 2 bedroom semi-detatched house in chesterfield, ur looking at around £350-£400 per month

depends whereabouts u live, but my brothers ex lived somewhere in the city centre when she was at uni, in the first 3 months she was held at knifepoint for all her £ 3 times.
