different torque on technics
i don't know if i'm crazy or if the turntables were jsut messed up
but i was spinning at a party tonite and htey had technic sl 1200 mk3s
and the torque on them was sheit.
i have technic sl1200 mk2's at home and the torque i get with a push off wiht them is far superior to the tables i spun on tonite.
i couldn't get a push off right for the life of me.
well i could once igot used to them, but it wasn't like my tables at home (or the like when i normally spin on tech's at parties).
i was getting the same feeling on the torque on these as my buddies station str8 60s
also i put on one of my records to cue up, and the table was on 45 but it was going alot faster (like at 78, but it doesn't have the option for that). hte record i was playing at was a 45 and it sounded like hhc. i switched back and forth and messed with the pitch but the table was still spinning too fast. i had to turn it off and back on to fix it.
how can tables get messed up so that they don't push off like they should?
