Hey guys, I'm new here (this is my second post) and I was just wanting to know of some good mailing lists to sign up for to get info on local events.. Preferably Southern Michigan, all of Indiana (yeah fuckin' right), and Ohio.. I've signed up for a few mailing lists already (Rise Midwest, Ritual, Mythodic in OH and Sevin in Chicago) but could always use more information. I'm fairly new to the scene (3 events) but not the music (been listening for about 3 years now) and really want to get to more events.
Any information is appreciated! thanks guys!

all i can recommend is to keep checking this forum for events, or try going to the homepages of clubs and signing up for their mailing lists. i am not familiar with michigan/indiana/ohio, because i live in wisconsin. maybe some other locals could tell you some places to check.
That's where I'd go for anything in and around the detroit area.
Necto is bringing in hella talent, so you might want to check their website too. i think its www.thenecto.com

DCS (detroitclubscene) is the best source of info for events in detroit and surrounding area, you won't find a better source. Just to let you know the site just crashed a few days ago and had to be rebuilt from scratch, so there isn't much on there now but it won't take long to bonuce back. Usually the promoters post their events directly on the site.
Normally its a very active forum, much more than this section of TA. You should sign up, there are DCS members present at most events. We're all crazy...

Thanks for the tip Raven! I'll check it out in a week or so ..I'm pretty busy settin up a party I'm throwing this weekend (keyword party; this is no event, although it will be exclusively psytrance and hard trance playin on my system!) so I haven't had much chance to check DCS. I don't have much chance nowadays to check out ANY sites, which is why I was askin if anyone knows of any good mailing lists I can sign up for! Keep the ideas comin! And thanks for the replies.
