Electric Calm V2 is great IMO. I just gave it my 2nd listen. I absolutely adore the track selection and the mixing is flawless. The album just flows so effortlessly like all good chillout albums should. Man I tell you the first half of the album is an amazing trip full of mezmorizing and soothing sounds. Its sounds like those that make me so passionate about music. If you like to relax and get lost in your music than this album is for you.

If you liked the first Electric Calm then you will love volume 2 (which is better IMO). Global Underground and The Forth are really onto something here. These aren't your average chillout comps that come out every summer/winter. These are well thought out, carefully crafted and flawlessly mixed journeys through sound.

Good CD, I just wish it was a little longer. It's only about 60 min long and most ambient tunes are quite long so I don't understand why it could not be 80 min.

I'd give it an 8/10.

Electric Calm V1 is fookin amazing, the perfect chillout album IMO.
In terms of V2 though, I have not heard it yet, but have already placed an order for the CD Album AND double unmixed Vinyl from Juno!!! OMG I WANT IT NOW!

Are there any tracks in V2 that are similar to "The Perfume Suite" which was in V1?
