My monsoon Flat panels work just fine (they come w/ sub) Its nothing amazing, but they sound nice @ all volume levels.

My Boston Acoustics sound good, I like them better than my friend's Altec Lansings

I think Boston Acoustics have to be the best. I have Altec Lansings (2 speakers + subwoofer). They can get pretty loud and still be clear-sounding and are pretty good most of the time. I have my computer hooked up to my large stereo speakers too so I can switch from my computer speakers to them if I want...if you can do this as well its the best.

This is the only way to go in my opinion, or a set of decent headphones...

At home, I have my PC hooked up to 600 watts going to 4 HUGE Cerwin Vega's.. At my office, I use a decent pair (about $100) of Sony Headphones... (In my opinion, Sony makes good headphones, it's about all they make that's good, but they are good. (I'm sure this will generate some flaming.. tee hee..))

yea, i have the cheapest pair of Sony Street-style's and they are quality... never has loud music sounded better =)... although the top of the range pair have a 50mm cone instead of 35mm in my pair.... or something like that =)

as for speakers.... i cant remember the brand, but this set of speakers called "Crossfire" are AWESOME!... as the same with Boston Acoutics, depends on your price range though
