Question About Pioneer DJM-600

Hey,
Does the Pionner DJM-600 have pre-faded listening or split cue?
If it has pre-fade, does it have volume control for pre-fade?

And another question, is there a "Cue'ing" option on every mixer?
Like is it a standard.

Thx.

I don't know if the DJM-600 has split cue, but it does have PFL...
And yes, cue'ing option is a standard on mixers.

It's split-cue...and you might be able to see it if you take a look at a picture of it, or the real thing, up close (visit Pioneer, they've got a nice picture of it).
This can, as far as I remember, be selected by flicking the mono\stereo switch. 'Course, I could be wrong... I'll know after the weekend. Gotta shift out the old DJM-600 with another 600. (Tiesto and Lars Holte really know how to use a mixer to it's extremes!)

The headphone controls are located in the (standard) bottom left hand corner of the DJM-600. Volume in the headset is great, just make sure ya don't blow ya ears (or those cheap plastic earwarmers you got from British Airways when you found out you forgot your pair of Sennheiser's back home). Now what DJ could I be thinking of?

Yep, our favorite peoples DJ at Gatecrasher...Jules! (Cheapskate...)

Well, gotta helluva summer ahead of me. Be sure to check out the International Sand Volleyball Championship on EuroSport or ESPN in a few weeks time...coming to my town, as usual...

...I'll be the one cruising around in someone else's car with Mauro Picotto or Yahel being heard all the way across the stands...

Thx for replying.
Needed the info.

I sorta can't live w/o split cue or PFL...
Coz I don't have good bass to use for monitoring

Yeah well, know how it is... the monitor output on the DJM-600 I use in my usual club is actually used for an output for two big ceiling-mounted passive speakers in another part of the main club area (a sorta raised dancefloor\chill-out zone with lower volume and less bass than the main floor).

The passive speakers, of course, don't have onboard amps, and rely on the volume given by the equipment in the DJ booth, the master volume being controlled through the mixer (ie, the monitor output volume), otherwise they would've been hooked up with the rest of the bunch. (I told them it should have been done yonks ago, but I suppose some people like hard music in a soft way! No...minimal with hardhouse, that's what all my fellow platter-spinners play...)

Therefore, we got no monitors! I had a slight problem with this before as there was a slight delay, but after tweaking the system, it was fine. Have this thing about only using headphones for mixing now, tho...

Hmm, seems volleyball started today! Gotta go downtown, lot's of 'scenery' around...
