They are recording stuido monitors.
Quite flat response, not particuarly bassy, and a slight peak in the mid range, but they are designed primarily for mixing in a studio.

not the best thing to be blasting trance out of really (i mean djing or lisening pleasure wise)- unless of course you are making it, in which case they are superb

DJ-ing/Listening: NO!

I've got a pair of SRM450s for DJing. The NS-10s are for production of course I don't know much about amps though so I was looking for recommendations.

I got a pair of the yamaha ns-1000's .

my got dad got them about 1980 or some shit... the driver on one of the mid's may be blown soon.. anyone know where I can find replement drivers or diaphragms for these guys?
