Hey. I'm a gay TA, and absolutely love this forum for meeting new people who love trance music.
A while back, I posted a thread that invited any gay TAs (and those who love 'em) to let me know if there was any interest in developing a sub-group of the TAs who might either be gay, or be cool with the whole gay thing. (I thought it would be fun to have other gay trance fans to hang with at events).
The response surprised me in that it was incredibly positive and totally cool (I even ended up with a number of new friends.)
I wanted to keep the concept alive... So, if you are gay, bi, curious, or straight, and are interested in meeting some new people and possibly hanging out in a gay positive way (god, I hate this whole political correct crap, and yet... here I am spouting it) Let me know.
I promise we're not total freaks (despite the above paragraph).
LOL

See this is why gay people confuse me. First they want everyone to treat them like heterosexuals, and then they go and try to seperate themselves from the rest of the community (in this case the TA community). Personally, i have no problems with gay people at all and dont see why you'd want to reduce yourself to just the gay TA community when obviously youve been welcomed with open arms!?!?

I'm just wondering about the Redux?
Nothing against gay people but they're just people too...
Should I create a "Heterosexual TAs" thread?

Thats kinda what i was getting at with my thread too.
meh, why do we need a sub group of TOTAs who are gay.. TOTA doesn't have anything against gays or lesbians, and we welcome just about everyone into the group!

Speak for yourself...the number of ignorant responses I got about Pride weekend was indicative that no, TOTA as a whole is not accepting of everyone.

damn straight...i say gay ta's on one side of the room the rest on the other...
*me points to the other side of the room and giggles*
edit: im on the straight side of the room cause i know someone was gonna make a stupid comment on the fact that ididnt specify what side i was on
Umm i dont mean to sound rude. BUt like gay positive places or groups or friends is a great idea and i hate when so called "straight people" say why divide yourself and segragate (cant spell) yourself. And have comment like "I dont get gay people". FUCK U And i say that in the nicest way.
Im gay and would love to hang out with gay peeps because theres no judgement or restrictions. I went to Lotus on a staight ghetto night and i felt so out of place and hate a horrible time.
Anyway chrismack count me in as a "gay TA" as you put it.
