Back when serie a came on channel 4 here in britain it was an all new breed of football. we had never seen anything like this before. I mean skill, what was that?

However after foreigners infultrated our beautiful game a bit more we realised that it was actually getting quite good, so people turned of the italian football on four, which had become way to defence orientated, and watched the premiership on sky.

Now however a new life has been given to the serie a in this country by eurosport(god bless you)and with it goals are now actually being scored in some games.

My personal view is that serie a is quality football all the way thru. Juventus do not suck, they have three of italys best players in di vaio, del piero (formerly known as god) and buffon (now known as god).

however I like chievo better, cos i thought they did brilliant last season and continue to do so, on a fraction of the budget the bigger teams are getting.

I too used to watch the seria A a couple of years ago,
was a juve fan also, but kept and open eye for lazio, inter milan, fiorentina.
I always thought the seria A foot was more of a speed game, and the premiere was more physical, while the liga was more of a mix.
That's just my opinion unfortunatly I'm not a football guru.
But I'll recommend everyone who can catch some brazilian league games, on tv, since they got some monsters brewing over there, and the players seem hella young.

Yea I'm interested in the Italian series, but seeing I'm not an Italian I kinda like all teams. Parma, Roma, Juventus, I like them all (maybe Roma a little more, but thats probably because they're amongst the best, same reason I like Real - eventhow they're corrupted like hell)

Despite being a rather partial fan towards juve, I can fortunately say that the title race JUST got more interesting with Juve losing to Milan

Always been a Parma Man, esp when they had Buffon, Cannavaro, Thuram, Veron, Chiesa, Crespo, Sensini, Bennarivo etc, I even have the shirt its psychadelically cool, tho I have a soft spot for Udinese, esp after watching them beat Inter on sunday, we now get it live on British Eurosport

The Italian competition is probably the most boring competition in europe. I don't intend to diss you, but Italian soccer really sucks.

It's true that you have some of the best players running around in the serie A (I'm especially fond of players like Recoba, Nedved, Davids, Schevchenko, Rui Costa, Stam and so on), but come on... what's up with all that defending?

You have great attackers: Inzaghi, Batistuta, Vieri, Schevchenko, Trezeguet... enough quality so start playing some atractive games.
