just wondering, how much homework do people do on average during regular days, midterms, finals?
im at uoft engineering second year, and we dick around a lot, during regular days we dont do any homework except for mandatory labs (and thats like one every 10 days). no assighments and at midterms we study for a few hours tops per test. are other courses like this too or do ppl actually do stuff during the weeks? |
Which engineering is this?
All I can say is, in electrical, if you're skipping every single non-marked assignment and intend to catch up with it in one massive cramming session before the midterm/final, you're going to do poorly or possibly fail. But then, you never mentioned what kind of marks you were getting with that work ethic...
I'm in 4th year elec at Queen's, which is slightly less work than U of T, and I do less work than most people here. So I can honestly say that I know the ropes, and you're probably pushing it by copying labs and only doing the mandatory work.
