How to chop/alter vocals to "roll"

An example would be "On a high" by Duncan Sheikh (G&D's love from... remix). How would you do this under fruity or so... first you would chop/ quantatize, add a lil reverb but then what?? If you chop, once it hits the second chop the vocal starts all over and doesnt continue to give that roll effect...n e advice??

i think what you're going for is a gating effect. in that case you'd just need a vst that does gating.
