[remix] O'Callaghan & Kearney - overcast (Pjotr G mix)

Hello,

Here's my remix of O'Callaghan & Kearney's track "overcast".

I hope you original makers like it

Well? well?

when it first started i thought it sounded a bit like my remix then that wicked bassline came in, and yours turned into a whole different track to mine which is cool i love the little high synths you have in the build-up.

Very cool remix, has a whole different slant to the original now, i just can't wait to hear the Santiago Nino remix, cos it looks like we'll end up with 4 very different sounding mixes
I'll post my link after i'm done tweaking a few parts - if it's OK with John & Bryan.

awesome track, it has a filterheadz feel to it.. much better than the original i think, as you haven't used much of the 'happy' synthlines from the original.. bassline rocks.. ideal for a club!

Top notch job mate

This version is really really cool..has a really nice funky sort of groove to it, reminds me a bit of 'New Time New Place' and the Verdi Mix of Pulsar, production, fx and percussion all excellent and you managed to make a different version while retaining the original aspects of our version..

Fair play mate love this

just listening now, this is excellent! love it pjotr its amazing! great use of the orig samples and vox, with ur own pounding unique style. the bass sounds good, its kinda distorted which is good-it is perhaps a tiny little bit bassy, it sounds muffly on my speakers.
yea its real verdi and awesome kinda sound...and them delays are fantastic wingwinginginging haha

great remix, just what i expected

Absolute tune! That is one killer bass you produced there. The percussion is also great. I just really really like this

By the way, the standards here on the forums are getting higher and higher with all these productions. So many pure quality tunes are being posted here! Very very good thing

nice tune - sounds definitely pro and it's overall very, very danceable - that can only be a good thing. the only thing i don't like too much is the robo vocals, even if well used. also you could make your tunes a little bit longer..

these speakers are shite to say anything about the mastering, but everything sounds perfect here.

try sending the tune to picotto and marco v, if the original producers allow it, hehe

it's no trouble at all to prepare a vocal-less version, but the connection to the original track will be somewhat lost?

Don't have access to any stuff anyway until weekend
