what do you prefer better the underground rave scene or the high profile dj club nights ie:nick warren,gatecrasher,judge jules etc...

well..the big name DJs cost shitloads(tix)..but they also please me much..underground is good tho. Personally Id like to pay the $$ and see the names, but I dont think itll happen. Defstar isnt doin too well, Imperial bros never did have the $$
so whatever..im going to maxie, and he will please me much

oh, and just in case you havent noticed...there really isnt much of a 'trance' scene in calgary. Its house, funky house, Hard house, Prog House...but all house. IMO @ least...

yeah no kidding about the no trance scene, personally i don't really like house unless it's really hard house, and if i wanted house usually i just sit in my own and watch tv, about as much fun as a funky house party. and yeah imperial bros suck dick, but they did bring guy ornadel, and slinky but that's about it, as for defstar i think they'll come back with some hot shows this winter and max grahams a good enough start for me. but i want trance damnit, oh well looks like i'll just have to keep going overseas for the good parties.

yeah..the only good event imperial bros brings is slinky tour...Fergie and Tim Lyall the first time, Dave Lea and Rob Tissera the second and Guy Ornandel the third.

yeah if defstar brought another superclub tour like godskitchen, or cream, or even slinky or gatecrasher again that would rock and as for fergie that guy fuckin rocks, seen him spin at godskitchen in ibiza in between tiesto and picotto and he was harder than both of them surprisingly, but the best show calgary could get would be dj tiesto
hands down he rocks did anyone see him last feb. in edmonton?

the underground scene can be pretty good here
although the shit's starting to get pretty expensive
the last party i went to kicked so much ass though, it was soo fun
wet dreams isn't going to be that great
it's technically a rave, but the vibe won't be there
cause most of the real party kids in calgary aren't 18
sure the 18+ age thing will help with the kids just going to get high but a lot of people in calgary that go to parties and are over 18 have already seen most of the lineup
