The Tiesto Debuckle
On Monday night I tuned in to Gold Coast's Radio metro (105.7FM) and to my suprise they were playing good trance, all of a sudden the announcers voice came on saying "THIS IS TIESTO!". After regaining conciousness I began wodnering "IS HE HERE??" "WTF? IS THAT REALLY HIM?" and yes he played most of the tunes of NYANA but at the end of it all the ******s didn't mention a single thing whether he was playing live or not, wether he was actually in Australia, QLD, Gold Coast? They didn't say shit.
I hope theres someone out there that can clarify this, is Tiesto really in AUS or am I just letting my imagination get the better of me??

I don't think he's here yet dude. From what I can gather he arrives around Dec 23 and leaves Jan 6. As you can tell from the millions of threads on various websites, you can catch him at Mobile home!!

Have just moved up to the Gold Coast and a couple of weeks ago I spoke to a friend who is mates with the resident DJ at Fever, he claimed that Tiesto was going to be playing at Berlin Bar in 2-3 weeks, I thought it was bullshit but you never know...

And JJJ does it regularly on the club.

I severely doubt Tiesto being @ berlin but my friend is resident dj there so ill chase that up. If he were to play at any club on the coast it would be Fever.
Peace

Yeah quite possible, what makes it even more possible is that it was all the songs of Nyana (not in the right order) so it could have been the release party set or something, but they had a little ad that kept saying "This is Tiesto" every now and again that was the only thing that made me think it was him live. Of course the set could have been forwarded from a different country or something.

Most likely it was a re-broadcast of an older Tiesto set recorded for the radio, this sort of thing happens quite often...
About the time of Two Tribes this year, JJJ and Nova both played the exact same "exclusive" Armin set, which was just a recording of a recent ASOT episode :/
