thats why i want to put out my own material my self. i just have to wait till i get some money (i.e. get out of college and get a job). hell maybe ill even start a entertainment company someday .
This was definately a good read, but it seems to apply for bigger labels, rather than the majority of small-mid trance labels.
My personal thoughts:
These record contracts are tricky. They are worded strangely, very difficult to understand, and can limit almost everything you do in the future. It is very important that you make sure you understand the contract before you sign anything. What may seem like a good deal could turn out to put a halt on your future music career for many years. If you are serious about your music, and you don't want to be stuck in the future because of a foolish mistake, Get a lawyer!

ROFL,werd up!Good read,Mr.Mystert, even tho I suspect that things are a bit different since that article covers bands, not producers/djs.
