PVD uses it all the time, on Ausralian radio he said that it might take over vinyl soon.

yes i know it's done on vinyl but he means that you won't have to buy vinyl anymore, just use Final Scratch...

This would seriously bankrupt the market IMO.

Doesn't really bother me either way, as long as the mixing and the tunes are good

You do need to buy the vinyl to rip it

Watched 2 guys spin drum and bass on it last weekend.. Couldn't really notice much of a difference from vinyl/cd. I was talking to the one guy and he said that it can sometimes skip if there is any heavy scratching going on... They were running off a Mac.

How many peopel do you actually think would buy the vinyl after they get Final Scratch

and whats the point in having Final Scracth if your buying the vinyl??? it loses the whole purpose in the first place.

The purpose of Final Scratch is so you don't have to carry your whole vinyl collection with you everywhere you go, thus enabling DJs like PvD to a) bring more music with them and b) not have to worry about transporting hundreds of records. If you played mp3s you downloaded on FS it would sound awful, just as it would if you played them off a burned CD.
