Doesn't Anyone Make Any Original Music ????

Why is it that nearly everyone that posts on here makes Remixes ?

I admit we have done some ourselves, but we have over 30 original tracks also.

Also our remixes are written as to be very different to the original, our own style not copied from anyone.

Please feel free to take a listen to our work & make some comments if you wish.

CARTE BLANCHE - G-Force Euphoric Remix

G-Force EUPHORIC REMIX

ZOMBIE NATION - G-Force Remix

BLACK IS BLACK - G-force Remix

A I R W A V E - G-Force Tribute Mix

TUBULAR TRANCE - G-Force Trance Mix

ehhhhhhhhh

original tracks only come along every so often, inspiration for a good track is hard to come by and a lot of people only like to release original material that is REALLY good, instead of 20 or 30 shite original songs

make sense?

I see your point, as I've wondered that myself in this forum.

There seems to be a lot more remixes than original work, but as John pointed out ideas for a new tune are hard to find sometimes. Personally I only make original songs, but at the rate of about 1 every two months or something. I kinda feel like all the work that goes into a remix should be spent going into an original tune so I just never bother with em.

Just my 2 cents.

Oh my god, you forgot me! Well, I suppose Feels like Flying does sound a little bit like the intro to Elton John's 'Circle of Life' featured in The Lion King. But that wasn't intentional, honest.

I can see some of your points - However ....

I have not long been on this forum, only a few months & in that time I have counted dozens of posts from Remixers !!!

More or less every thread is Remix of this or a Remix of that.

It seems to be a case of Midi swapping & adding a new perc beat, a few pads, swapping it all round a bit & calling it a remix.

Most of the Remixes are also of tracks that are classics in their own right - "If it's not broken - Don't try & fix it"

I have not listened to many on here that have beaten the original version - Don't have a go at me for saying this, like I said " There Are Not Many " I have not said all of them !!!

Once an original track has had it's day, it will either become a classic or will die a death. If labels put out a Remix comp for their label, thats fine no probs. Also some tracks are damn right crap & need a good remix but they are few & far between.

Lets hear some original work from the Remixers - Show people what you can create not what you can copy.

Just My Opinion

ATB

Lappy

Well...

Every producer here, made a oringal track or more even..so i don't get it...i don't see teisto makeing 3 orignal tracks a week.. or am i wrong?

Making something orignal has to come from insparation or ideas, its not something that you can trigger mostly..
