MUCH BETTER IMO!!!

The DJS play EXTENDED SETS. WTF is the point of going to see a DJ if hes only going to play for an hour or an hour and a half.

I dunno but i'd rather see my favourite DJS play 3-4 hour extended sets in tighter surroundings as opposed to seeing 7/8 djs over the course of 7/8 hours in a cold sterile arena.

But thats just me...

ummm...yeah the Tribal weekender would be good if you're into Tribal but if you're not and you happen to enjoy oh I don't know...TRANCE then Crasher at the NEC might be the thing. True you only get an hour out of each DJ but add it all up and you get a fantastic night of your favorite music.

To each their own I suppose.

Actually despite my taste in music being more in line with Special K, I have to agree with YOU. I also think comparing the dj based on set length is redundant, because as already mentioned the music style being played is completely different.

I can't stand it when people come in and bash my prog threads. So I'm gonna defend the NEC thread, and commend the lineup (because I can respect it, not because I personally like the music better)

P.S Karlos (sp?) have you ever been to a festival of this magnitude? Granted they only get an hour, but it's so stupid full of energy that everyone goes apeshit. Calling it a cold, sterile arena is the furthest thing from the truth. But wait, I can remember seeing Zabiela playing at the Cross to 15 people...now that was cold and sterile. Fawk me.

OMG...that makes me want to cry...assembling that kind of lineup is just SICK!

People must go absolutely insane at those events...an hour each or not, the energy must be crazy...you'd just get knocked on your ass from the begining and it wouldn't let up...I'm sooooooooo jealous
