Shame / Disagreement Repressing Old Classics

I hate the idea when they re-release old classics which are hard to get like cloud 69 , yahel - voyage...
For me personally i think its spoils the value of the track. I think when repress they should repress very limited quantities. And repress it once, not over and over.

Ooo speaking of Cloud 69 Repress, when do they come out? The last repress of it was rarer than the original pressing.

I don't see why it's so bad. I think all vinyl should be available to everyone. It's about the music, not greedily hording rare records.

its not about being greedy i also don't have the track and would love to have it but what i hate is when they re-release a track which is a classic and it gets overplayed every club you go to, and by the way they did repress it before.

i don't mean to sound greedy sorry

Screw that!!Give the People what they want!!!

First of all you'd have to know that any pressing isn't going to putting vinyl in store like Best Buy for mass consumption, just back in the store where hard core listeners and DJs shop. So for the mass markets put the tracks on compilation format CDs like they are now.

I would love everyone to be able to hear "Always" by Midi Rain or "Spice" by EON both of which came out in 1992 on Vinyl Soultion Sampler CD. I've got the orginal CD new when I worked a radio station but if everyone and their uncle had it wouldn't spoil the tracks to me. I'd just give me more people to talk about it with.

Give the People what they want!!!

what about a tune which a lot of people want and they can't get hold off, are they then allowed to download it and press it themselves, cos music should be available to all
