can someone help me please? i have a song that i want identifying, when i click on the "click to select file" button to upload in the uknown tracks forum it wont do it cuz it only uploads mp3 even though the sound file is an mp3 format. i ripped the track of an unknown cd but i cant seem 2 save it with an mp3 file extention. ive tried mp3 converters such as dBpowerAMP but i just cant get that mp3 file extention on the track. what do i do?

Have you tried renaming it to something .mp3 in Windows Explorer?

google for LAME and RazorLame. Download the LAME codec and RazorLame software, both freeware, and convert in RazorLame.
