haha, anyway, i just got back from london 3 hrs ago and 20some records richer (or poorer? )

short intro...i'm one of the many lurkers of TA. you've probably seen me near the walls at the various trance events around town. anyway, i been spinning for about 3 years now, been playing out more this past year and wut can i say? it's been awesome. a typical set from me consists of trance with a harder and techier edge to begin with before moving on into the energetic uplifting stuff. but in the end, it's all to make the crowd happy, so i can mix it up to your heart's content. i'm not into playing ALL the big songs of the week so be expecting a lot of stuff you might or might not know. seriously tho, i got some real fresh stuff in my bag that just came off the shelves this weekend so if you are tired of all the big songs gracing the tracklists in TA...c'mon down

so yea...hope to see you all there. This party seems to be one of the most consistent trance weeklies and it's free! big thanks to roxxia for giving me a spot and if all goes well, i'm sure i won't disappoint.

haha...i'm not boasting some totally unheard of weird trance tunes, just the stuff that gets heard less but deserves way more playtime. and as a whole, hard/tech trance doesn't dominate the market so it is heard less. which is a shame imo. dun worry, you'll still hear the uplifting stuff you like as well as more.

as for mixing...well, that will remain to be seen/heard...

Great night - went til 3 am, which is pretty good for a Wednesday night, and each of the DJ's was able to spin two sets.
Binkun, thanks for bringing the ladies - seemed to make all the difference.
If I may digress, I think getting enough females to attend is the key to a successful party or event, and the biggest challenge to a promoter. Do y'all agree? Anyone got any advice or ideas on this topic?

It was funny seeing the girls try to break the pinata.

Looking ahead...
Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, and New Years Eve all fall on a Wednesday this year, so this is the place to be for each of them!

haha nite did turn out pretty well. i was scared first cuz the first hour i played, the monitors weren't working too well and i suck at just mixing in headphones. but then it was fixed by the 2nd hour, (probably just my stupidity) and all went well. the pinata was fun altho it took 3 ppl to get it open. all in all, trance is good, and NYC needs more trance weeklies desperately....so props to all who are keeping it alive.
