well....i used to have a system but it got jacked. I'll describe it anyway...its a way of me coping with the pain.

In my 95' Toyota celica. That car really has something about it when it comes to sound...maybe cuz its just so small and cramped in there, the speakers just put sound all over the place. I didnt have the biggest bass but all my mids and highs were crystal clear and the hard bass never drowned out anything.

I blow up a 65 ampere fuse once a while so that means

watt = ampere * volt

65 * 13.5 = 877watt

That makes sense as my German (speakers) amp = 300w RMS and my American amp (subwoofer) 600w RMS

I got a silver alpine mp3 deck (can't remember model off the top of my nug), an mrd500 and a v12. 2 10" JL Audio subs, pioneer 6x9 and 4x6's. Doesn't pound HARD, but the sound is CLEAN as hell.

Better to have a clean sound than too much bass.

I have a Koss PLL Synthesize Radio Cassete Player with Auto Reverse and 15 watts X 4 channels, but since i only have 2 front speakers in my front dash i get all 30 watts up front!!! Also I get 12 FM stations and 6 AM stations!

By the way my car that its in sort of looks like the one in my sig (1984 Chevrolet Citation )

ppi 1000 a4 powering 4 5 1/4 titanium Boston Acoustics. a rockford Fostgate 600a2 powering an infinity perfect 12 sub. kenwood z909 mp3 player. The sub rms is 650-700 peaks around 1400. dont remember wats on speaks, but i think its around 200 rms
