:::2 New Tracks By J J Boogie:::

Rather than post them separate, I think they do more justice when heard "in the mix." The track list from his latest release is below so you can skip forward into the mix to hear a tech trance stomper(PHASED & CONFUSED) and his Solar Stone remix...

GENESIS 2003 Volume 2

Here is the track list:

1. Disco - Prawler (0:00 - 7:54)

2. Gimme Da Drumz - Track Assassin (7:55 - 13:38)

3. Deep Sea - Aquanuts (13:38 - 20:50)

4. Deep Inside - Lithium (20:50 - 26:24)

5. Quartz E.P. - Quartz (26:24 - 29:57)

6. Phased & Confused - JJ Boogie (29:57 - 33:56)

7. Try - Ian Van Dahl (33:56 - 41:51)

8. Second Chase - Dave Joy (41:51 - 48:49)

9. Metro - Ultra Spin (48:49 - 55:33)

10. Seven Cities - Solar Stone / Armin VB (JJ Boogie's Big Room Remix) (55:33 - 64:41)

For those who do not know of JJ yet, a quick bio:

JJ BOOGIE

NOV. 2003 - A DJ since 1996, JJ got his first true taste of success as a club DJ playing Top 40, Dance, Disco, and Hip-Hop in the Cincinnati and Indianapolis markets while in college. During this two year stint, JJ honed his mixing skills, ability to progress his music throughout the night and his unmistakable talent at reading his dance floor. Having first gotten into electronic music in 1993 when he attended his first raves, JJ was completely drawn to the throbbing basslines and solid drums of underground dance. While spending most of his weekends DJing, JJ would go out once a month to some various raves across the Midwest. Eventually his passion for underground dance, acid house, and the energy of raves themselves compelled JJ to quit his club residencies and move into the underground.

After his decision to follow his passions, JJ worked diligently to rise as a DJ and he also formed both a production company and record label (Groove Reactor Productions in 1998 and Groove Reactor Records in 2000). In that time, JJ has helmed two companies that have had marked success. To date, Groove Reactor Productions has thrown 45+ rave and club events with over 10,000 people attending his various shows. Groove Reactor Records on the other hand has released both vinyl albums and CD Compilations nationally and at the 2002 and 2003 WMC's in Miami.

JJ's successes as a DJ continue to mount. Recent accomplishments include headlining with Paul Van Dyk & Paul Oakenfold in October and November of 2003, playing at the W.M.C. in Miami 2003, the W.E.M.F. in Canada in 2002, RISE New Year's Eve @ Ohio State 2002, Live on the Decks 5 in Chicago 2002. His annual tour promoting his yearly mixed CD release GENESIS 2003 was booked in Chicago, Milwaukee, San Francisco, Springfield (MA), Nashville, Miami, Detroit, Columbus, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Madison (WI), Louisville, and more.

As a producer, JJ has also seen success releasing vinyl albums on his own Groove Reactor as well as Cry Baby Records and Funktion Junktion. His first vinyl album (The Slipstream E.P.) was released at the 2002 WMC and ended up in the crates of Oakenfold and Acosta to name a few and his recent techno stomper "Phased & Confused" has already sold out. You can also catch his "Big Room" remix of Solar Stone's "Seven Cities" as the closing track on GENESIS 2003.

2004 Promises to be an even bigger year for JJ, with his first Groove Reactor vinyl E.P. in nearly 6 months as well as an underground hip-hop and jungle CD Compilation on Groove Reactor Records. In addition to that, JJ will be putting out one more track on Funktion Junktion in 2004 and will of course be releasing GENESIS 2004 (Volume 3) with his accompanying tour.
