Not much liking the bassline you chose, either the synth or the pattern is off, it doesnt flow very well.

Your lead synth needs more resonance, reverb, and should be lower in volume. It's too much in the foreground, needs to create more atmosphere.

And the whole mix is muddy, you need a master EQ on this one.

yeh i do agree that i need tutoring on my EQing and compressing

c'mon its not that bad for a hour jobby, just like a quick dirty rmx

meh, its just my interpretation of hardstyle, my comp cant handle all these new virus/absinth vstis, so i stick with the crappy ones and see what i can do with it.

cheers for the advice

I think it sounds pretty cool and interesting

Fix some EQing stuff though

The bass i think is a mixed bag... you'll either love it or hate it... I think i love it though ... just remove that reverb from the bass...

Also, personally, I think the way the synth came in was too sudden.. would have been better if you built it up

nice one brovah

as with hardstyle, i didnt think EQ would be much of an issue

i thought the delay with the bass was quite cool, it gave it more depth...so i thought

and yeh, the synth, i did a cutoff filter build with that on the full version, also some percussion tweaks, the giz drum loop, sounded phasy in the sample and made the mix loose. so thats all cleared up...

will be uploading finished track later tonite

stay choond
