my thoughts on pvd's new album
ok, so reflections huh.. now im a big time pvd fan, moreso as a dj than a producer, but well i decided to check out this new album. In my opinion its pretty weak. the only real strong songs are the singles that we've all heard, it seems to me that the rest of the tracks are all just kinda filler tracks.. stuff that he mish mashed together to release an album containing the newer singles. u hear a lot of the same synths used in multiple songs, for example, his hihat sound that he seems so proud of that its been in a few remixes and songs (im talkin about the one u find 'in nothing but you' as well as a few other songs on the album, and u also might recognize the drum track as practically the same from his remix of 'sinead o' conner - ghostland' (i think i spelled that right).. also, pretty much throughout the filler tracks u hear a lot of the same effects. this is just my opinion, in that i believe this album is pretty weak, especially compared to 'global' which was a much more impressive work than this.. what do you all think?

this album is more of a Filler CD, yeah, so we can fill PvD's wallet nice and fat.

It's an artists album, not a mixed dance cd
I would say, if you could do it better why don't you?
So what if 2 or 3 tracks really suck, that's common on most cd's
Ferry and Armin's cd basicly the same story...
He'll never top Seven Ways and Out There And Back anyhow

album was totally weak. Havent heard a good PVD album since 'out there and back'. 'politics of dancing' was decent but many of the tunes have been canned to death. 'global' was like a compilation of tracks, another money maker album just like 'reflections'.
pvd better get with it cause im sick of buying junk
