I am having a problem exporting synth loops out of Reason. Everytime I do it they don't sound the same as when they are playing through reason.

Anybody have any ideas? What am I doing wrong.

I am soloing the device and going to export loop under the file menu, but it never sounds the same once I play it after exporting.

What type of soundcard do you have? Did you try with different settings when exporting, for example bit & hertz? What do you use to playback the wav file you exported? (wavelab etc.)...

OK, here are some more details

I am using the Subtraktor to select and tweak the synth Matrix sequencer to plot it out. I have a soundblaster live audio card which isn't the greatest, but I have hooked up through my mixer and when I play the synth in reason it sounds great. I am then try to export it out as wav. file so I can use it in Acid 3.0 to Sequence the entire song. I have no problem exporting loops with the redrum drum mahcine. They sound fine once I open them in Acid. It is just the snyths that are all screwed up. You can barely even tell it is the same synth once it is exported.

Changing the bit rate doesn't seem to help.

Does the exported synth wavefile sound fine outside Acid ? As when played with winamp etc. ?
If you don't mind posting the reason-file, i can take a look at it if you want.

Ok, this may sound stupid, but anyway... If you're making a sample in reason and the sample bpm is 140 and you import the sample to acid and play the sample in 120 bpm it will sound weird (pitched)... So if that's the case, try change the bpm in acid so it matches the bpm of the original sample you made in reason.
This might not be the problem though.. I tried to do the same as you described and that was the only thing i could put my finger on..

try solo'ing the subtractor and the matrix when exporting... if that doesn't help, you can always ask help or send the rns-file...
