Seriously, you should just sit down for a few hours and just play with these instruments, and build up your own list of favourites.

Besides, consider the following:
- A good standalone preset may not fit well in your track
- Be original and don't copy other people

These two VSTis are awesome. There's way too many sounds to list just a couple of good ones,, mainly because they're all fantastic and it would depend on the mood/style of the track you're creating.

Rest assure though, if you pick these two packages up you'll be set for basses, pads, atmosphere, and even leads...for whatever type of music you want.

It will take you about 3 hours to go through all of the presets in Atmosphere with a very limited listen, and I'd highly recommend that you do that.

With Trilogy and Atmosphere you are pretty much set with pads and basses for a couple of years. What a lot of people don't know about Atmosphere is that each patch is built from 2 separate patches. You can layer patches or the patches to make the patches. What you end up with are thousands upon thousands of pads.

Seriously, why would anyone need a JP or even a Jupiter with all of these patches. With Trilogy, it's practically a Moog, Jupiter, SH101, or anything else you want it to be. When I heard Atmoshpere and Trilogy, my opinion about software changed. (although it's not fully software if you know what I mean).

Either way, as far as recommending good patches, that's like going to a Ferrari dealership and trying to recommend one of them. They are all unbelievable. I cannot wait to see what Eric Persing thinks of next.

I own an Access Virus, Alesis Ion and so on, but Atmosphere is without a doubt my best synth.
