i might get flamed for mentioning another type of genre other than trance, but oh well...

party 93.1 in miami plays some cheesy a** remixes of pop/hip-hop songs. i'd have to say one of the worst ones is a remix of Beyonce's "Crazy in Love". i happen to love that song...it's very energetic and has a great melody/beat (i listen to a lot of hip/hop too). anyway, they butchered that song w/ the remix. i'm not sure who remixed it...i'll have to find out from the website or something.
