My new trance track: do you like it?

Hello trance lover

I've recently made a melodic trance track called "Trust in Your Soul" I've uploaded on http://www.mp3.com/freetranceplanet.
Have a listen and tell me what do you think of

Ok,one major thing you are missing... where the hell are you crash cymbals? To get the full feel and build up of a trance tune you need cymbals.

I would also change the strings at the start, they sound a tad cheesy.

Sorry for being slighty harsh... just telling the truth.

Don't listen to Darrex.. this song sounds fine without any cymbals. However, what it could use is more powerful percussion over all. The kick is very flat and could use some compression. But there is no clipping (distortion) in the track.. which is a sign of good mastering.. perhaps you meant for it to not have a powerful kick?

Am I going to keep this song in my playlist? Why or why not? No, because, as I mentioned before, the kick is not at all powerful enough to grasp my attention, and the melody is some what drab.. it lacks complexity and the synth you used for it is boring. You definitely have potential though, In Your Arms was fantastic.. if it had a subtle kick and again, and a more complex pan flute melody I would of definitely kept that one.

Maybe open up the amp attack and amp release on the pad. It is too sudden the way it is.

As mentioned, yeah, the kick is way too weak. Either beef it up or get a better one. Kind of reminds me of Binary Finary melody wise. I like the feel of the song and the melody and stuff, just needs work on getting the levels right.

Maybe you should try spelling my name right as well?

Although I still sticking with my first comment. If you are not going to use cymbals then use something else to merge the sounds together.

I do agree with the last two posts though that the drums are over all too weak.
