ooooh, thanks Graham for reminding me - download the new Cave mix.
Speaking of Street Carnival, I don't particularly like it anymore either. However, it's fantastic only when Barbara plays it because I ID'd that track for her at Aria. (Christian Smith was playing it, and she didn't know what it was.)
I believe she even told DJ Mag it's her track of the year.

Sooooo disappointed with Cave's new demo mix!
It has his style, but it's just totally lacking in the "meat" that the first one had (mainly tribal vocals and musical fragments).
Having said that, it's not a bad mix at all, I just expected the best of the best from Cave, I still listen to his earlier mix all the time. Some of it is actually sort of tech-trancy... people here might like it.
